Although the “Demonarchy” demo marked his first appearance as a session drummer to re-record songs from the self-titled Hanzaisha EP from 2025, it was on this album that his contribution to Hanzaisha’s sound as an official studio drummer had transformed the band entirely.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOn this new second full-length album, the album evolves Hanzaisha’s “Imahama War” sound into brilliantly idiotic, filthy, and utterly absurd paths, and it seems to reflect a representation of an East Asian anti-militarist revolution against all corruption and racism. It sonically represents an acceptance of the reality of civil chaos, moral disobedience, and awakening from blind submissions, where the primal natures of liberation and anarchy turn bigger than any weak imperial dictator with nationalist\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"bcTruncateMore\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eambitions, and it is from this true power of freedom where Black Infestation takes inspiration from.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIn much simpler terms, it is to be said in a straightforward manner that Hanzaisha now evolved its sound into a very cavernous and brutal form of War Metal, and we are all here for it! Spiritually aligned with death metal maniacs like Infester, Incantation, and Suffocation, and war metal bands like Revenge, Conqueror, Tetragrammacide, and Diocletian, Hanzaisha demonstrates a more brutal and cavernous approach to their “Imahama War Black” sound. Sloppy punky chord riffs, fast and slow, fight against disorienting contortions of blast beats and crushing ponderous rhythms, taking away any finesse from the definition of the overall sonic space, leaving them a sonic equivalent of a baseball bat covered in nails. Even when they get into slower sections, it’s still hurting you somehow.
