Xysma is considered by some to be the first ever Finnish grindcore band. However, the group quickly moved away from extreme music and then evolved into a stylistic mix of '70s heavy rock in the vein of Black Sabbath and death metal. Then they changed their style again into pure retro rock and finally into pop.
