Depravation - III: Odor Mortis CD

After DEPRAVATION have already established themselves with their first two longplayers as a constant in the German underground, the very balanced and super produced new Record III: ODOR MORTIS could also make the leap onto the international stage. I think DEPRAVATION will make this step sooner or later with the combination of modern Black Metal without post elements and their worth seeing performances.

The remarkable screaming vocals and the powerful instrumentals also contribute to keep the mood alive for the whole record and breathe the last precision into the sound. Some of the guitar melodies are catchy, others sound slightly dissonant without drifting too much into chaos. I generally enjoyed the Songwriting very much and also it is an important component for the fact that you can listen to the album wonderfully in one piece without directly unravelling all secrets.
