Lex Talionis - The Initiation MCD

The debut EP from Chilean band LEX TALIONIS showcases a raw, primitive, and first-wave black/speed metal sound, absolutely faithful to the genre’s most savage traditions. Critics immediately highlighted its old-school approach, with a clear heritage from early black metal and the most aggressive thrash of the 80s, executed without artifice or overproduction. The EP’s sound is direct and stripped down, supported by razor-sharp riffs, martial drums, and a thick, prominent bass that adds extra weight to the overall sound.
