Ninkharsag - The Black Swords Of Winter CD

A good four years after the success of "The Dread March Of Solemn Gods," Ninkharsag returns with their new album. "The Black Swords Of Winter" combines classic black metal elements and is released as a CD and LP on VENDETTA. Ninkharsag, founded in 2009 as a one-man project and an official band since 2011, finally released their debut album in 2015. It took another six years to release their next album, "The Dread March Of Solemn Gods," which received considerable international acclaim and positive reviews. Once again, the band took their time and, four years later, released their new album, "The Black Swords Of Winter." Straightforward and consistent, it draws inspiration from the Swedish veterans of this genre. Ninkharsag are generally quite fast-paced, which suits them very well. Of course, the band won't win any awards for innovation in the genre with their style in 2025, but that doesn't have to be the case. Because what they do, they do extremely well.
