“Wastelands” is the point where Shadowmass fully step into their own sound. The album is built on classic heavy metal foundations pushed into a much harsher, more extreme territory. You can hear where the band comes from, but the focus is on strong, direct songs and a cold, cohesive atmosphere from start to finish.
